HIST 2700 - US History to 1877 (HU) Credits: 3 Examines the first half of the American experience, from the Pre-Columbian period through Post-Civil War Reconstruction. Surveys social, political, economic and cultural developments throughout this extensive period, and provides a focus on the challenges that diverse groups faced as they struggled for an inclusive place in American society. It is recommended students complete ENGL 1010 prior to taking this course.
