FLM 1070 - Film and Culture (FA, DV) Credits: 4 Explores film as a critical social mirror. Students will view and discuss the socio-cultural and aesthetic factors that shape cinematic representations of race, class, gender, sexuality, and ability. This country’s struggle with diversity and the forces and institutions of bias will be examined, promoting an ability to listen to the under-represented voices of varied perspectives.
