MATH 1040 - Intro to Statistics (QL) Credits: 3 This course is recommended particularly for students in programs desiring statistical literacy, including (but not limited to) Social Science, Behavioral Science, and Nursing. This course includes descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Emphasis on sampling design; descriptive statistics; linear regression and correlation; probability; sampling distributions; hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
Prerequisite: RDG 0900 w/C grade or better or appropriate placement score; AND within last year, MATH 0980 or MATH 1010 (or higher) w/C grade or better OR appropriate placement score Semester: All Additional Course Fee Required
