AAS degrees require a minimum of 14 credits of general education requirements as outlined below. Students must complete a minimum of 63 credits, including the general education requirements, to graduate with an AAS degree. Unless specified by program, individual courses can meet multiple degree requirements. In this circumstance, extra courses are required to meet the total number of credits required to graduate.
Note Some academic programs may recommend different courses for general education. Recommendations are not requirements, but faculty have decided that such recommendations may aid the student in the future, especially when transferring. Check specific program descriptions provided in this catalog.
